Encadenamientos y emprendimientos en zonas mineras: Caso Buriticá

Abstract

Esta publicación es un análisis del Programa de Encadenamiento Productivo (PEP) de Buriticá, un proyecto de desarrollo socioeconómico de la zona de influencia del proyecto minero de Buriticá en el departamento de Antioquia en Colombia. En la primera sección se plantea un análisis conceptual del modelo PEP, partiendo de una discusión en torno a la minería y el desarrollo sostenible. La segunda sección describe el PEP, sus fases, componentes y metodología; iniciando con una revisión de su implementación en los municipios de la zona de influencia del proyecto minero y finalizando con una presentación de los resultados obtenidos a lo largo de su ejecución. La tercera sección propone las bases conceptuales de una eventual fase subsiguiente del PEP, por medio de acciones orientadas a fortalecer la perdurabilidad de sus resultados en el largo plazo, a partir de la apropiación social de las dinámicas empresariales y sectoriales promovidas por el programa.
