Abstract

O modelo de publicacao em acesso aberto esta se desenvolvendo no meio de publicacoes e comunicacao cientifica. Desde as primeiras publicacoes periodicas ate o seculo XXI e a Internet, tiveram muitas alteracoes, principalmente no formato de apresentacao aos leitores e a sua disponibilizacao. Apos os recursos da Internet e com diretrizes indicadas pelos movimentos de acesso aberto, surgiu na decada de 1990 os primeiros projetos de disponibilizacao e arquivamento de artigos cientificos antes da publicacao, denominados preprints , o arXiv e um modelo estavel e muito utilizado por areas de exatas e computacao. Em 2013 comecam a ganhar vida na area biomedica com a criacao do bioRXiv, ambos com o objetivo de compartilhar textos e seus resultados antes da revisao por pares e publicacao. O modelo de publicacao preprints esta em constante crescimento junto as publicacoes em acesso aberto, e mostra-se como um novo paradigma da revisao por pares, e uma das atuais discussoes em comunicacao cientifica e editoracao, chegando a ser um modelo adotado pelas principais revistas interdisciplinares do mundo as revistas Nature e Science e lancado em 2017 pelo projeto SciELO. Outra facilidade dos preprints e a sua possibilidade de conexao com outros modelos de disponibilizacao de conteudos atuais, como as redes sociais e outras midias. DOI: 10.18225/SISPUBISISPUB.35
