¿Se puede hablar de moda sin extranjerismos?

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es analizar el empleo de voces extranjeras en el lenguaje de la moda en español. Para realizar el estudio, se parte de la hipótesis de que el inglés y el francés son las lenguas más representadas en los artículos en español. Esta representación se da a través de extranjerismos. Por este motivo, se ha optado por llevar a cabo un análisis de revistas en español para examinar la aparición de préstamos en dicho idioma. Nuestro estudio parte del análisis de dos geolectos: el de España y el de México. Durante la realización de esta investigación se han examinado las secciones que versan exclusivamente sobre el ámbito de la moda de los números en línea de los meses de marzo y abril de las revistas Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan y L’Officiel tanto de España como de México. En el análisis se realiza una clasificación de los extranjerismos según su idioma de procedencia, su ámbito temático y su frecuencia. También se comentan con más detalle algunos ejemplos encontrados en los artículos. Tras observar los resultados, se puede concluir que el inglés es el idioma de la moda por antonomasia
