Comportamiento de factores de riesgo de conversión de la Colelap a colecistectomía abierta. Hospital General de Barranquilla, enero de 2014-abril de 2015

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar el comportamiento de los factores de riesgo de conversión de la Colelap a colecistectomía abierta en el Hospital General de Barranquilla de enero de 2014 a abril de 2015. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio analítico de cohorte ambispectivo, muestra por conveniencia donde ingresaron al grupo 1 el total de pacientes en los que se realizó conversión a colecistectomía abierta convencional; para la conformación del grupo 2, se aleatorizaron 2 pacientes por cada uno que ingresó en el grupo 1, para un total de 20 pacientes para el grupo 1 y de 40 pacientes en el grupo 2. Resultados: La distribución de acuerdo al sexo mostró que el sexo femenino alcanzó la mayor frecuencia en los dos grupos en estudio, con un 75 % en el grupo 1 frente al 92,5 % en el grupo 2, la media de la edad del grupo 1 fue de 54,0 ± 11,6 años versus 44,1 ± 10,5 años en el grupo 2. Conclusiones: El comportamiento en el plano local de los factores asociados a conversión de colecistectomía laparoscópica a colecistectomía abierta convencional, no difiere radicalmente a lo descrito en la literatura tanto mundial como nacional, demostrándose en esta investigación que la edad mayor de 60 años, los hallazgos quirúrgicos de vesícula biliar engrosada, las múltiples adherencias y la hemorragia quirúrgica, fueron los factores de riesgo para conversión
