Abstract

, situacion particularmente interesante, pues un gran porcentaje de pacientes con hipertension se atienden en la red de atencion primaria. Segun informacion del INEI, existirian en el Peru mas de 2 000 000 de pacientes portadores de hipertension arterial, y si solo la mi-tad de ellos sabe que es portador de la enfermedad, es decir pacientes con diagnostico conocido y que acuden a hospitales para su control, solo 40% tienen adecuada adherencia a la medicacion prescrita
