Abstract

El presente artículo ahonda en el estudio del verso libre y, más en particular, de la silva libre impar, una de las formas de versolibrismo más características de la poesía española contemporánea. Se examinan los mecanismos métricos y rítmicos que intervienen en la con"guración estructural de Taller de arquitectura, de José Agustín Goytisolo, un texto formalmente unitario en el que el poeta proyecta su particular visión de la arquitectura y el urbanismo. En la silva libre, Goytisolo encuentra su mejor expresión de lo conversacional. Mediante el uso del encabalgamiento y la pausa, o de la rima como recurso expresivo, el poeta alcanza ese "no equilibrio entre tradición y modernidad que le permite lograr acercarse a lo narrativo sin tener que renunciar al componente rítmico del verso.
