Suggested by the city-soul analogy of Plato's "Republic", this writing applies an agnostic philosophy of mind to a psychological interpretation of selected Judeo-Christian ancient writing, e.g., the fall of man. The description draws heavily from the author's understanding of Roy Masters' ego-psychological interpretation of Judeo-Christianity. Anger begins as arrogance or hubris, a departure from a realistic mental model. The scriptural account of Adam's fall from paradise is a metaphor for the descent from realistic, concrete perception processing into unrealistic, abstract fantasy biased by judgmental emotions that reduce to anger. Anger causes most disease and misfortune.
