INTERIM OPIOID AGONIST TREATMENT FOR OPIOID ADDICTION. A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW.

Abstract

We plan to conduct a systematic review assessing the benefits of interim opioid agonist treatment in terms of retention in treatment, access to standard opioid agonist maintenance treatment, patient satisfaction, quality of life or wellbeing, use of psychoactive substances, criminal activities, mental and physical health status and adverse effects and also to evaluate the costs of this treatment approach.
