Abstract

A autonomia reprodutiva está relacionada à capacidade das mulheres de decidirem ter relação sexual, engravidar, utilizar métodos contraceptivos e manter uma gravidez ou não. Em países da américa latina a vulnerabilidade social e econômica, crenças e valores pessoais são obstáculos para o desenvolvimento da autonomia. O enfermeiro desempenha um papel estratégico como educador em saúde nessa questão, considerando aspectos culturais e prestando uma assistência humanizada. A presente revisão de escopo tem como objetivo mapear estudos existentes sobre o papel do enfermeiro na promoção da autonomia reprodutiva de pessoas gestantes, no contexto da América Latina.
