Abstract

Endemizm, bitkilere ait ekolojik sartlarin ve sureclerin kompleks bir yapida, zamansal ve mekânsal perspektifteki degisimlerinin bir sonucu olarak ortaya cikmaktadir. Bu acidan Turkiye 12.000 civarindaki bitki taksonu ve bunun icerisindeki 3/1’lik endemik orani ile Dunya’da degiskenlik gosteren ekolojik sartlara sahip onemli ulkelerden biridir. Sahip olunan endemik bitkilere ait bu zenginligin daha dogru tespiti, degerlendirilmesi, izlenmesi ve korunmasi ise oncelikle var olan endemik bitkilerin dagilisinin ve bu dagilisa dair ozelliklerin bilinmesi ile mumkundur. Bu calismada, Turkiye’deki endemik bitkilere ait lokasyon bilgilerinin, sayisal cografi veri tabani uzerine aktarilmasi amaclanmistir. Calisma amacina paralel olarak arastirmada bir dizi yontem izlenmistir. Ilk olarak endemik takson listeleri ‘Turkiye Bitkileri Kirmizi Kitabi’ndaki (Red Data Book) floristik listeler kullanilarak olusturulmustur. Daha sonra bu liste “Turkiye Bitkileri Listesi, Damarli Bitkiler” kitabina gore guncellenmistir. Bu listede yer alan endemik taksonlarin dagilisina ait lokasyon bilgileri ise Turkiye ve Dogu Ege Adalari Florasi (Flora of Turkey and The East Aegean Islands) eserlerinden yararlanilarak belirlenmistir. Belirlenen lokasyonlar cografi bilgi sistemleri yazilimlari ile sayisal veri tabanina aktarilmis ve boylelikle Turkiye’de endemik taksonlara ait 9677 lokasyon elde edilmistir. Elde edilen veri tabani ile Turkiye’ye ait bolge, bolum, il, flora bolgeleri ve Davis’in kareleme sistemi sinirlarina gore dagilislar degerlendirilmistir. Sonuc olarak; Turkiye’deki endemik bitkiler icin guncellenebilir, sorgulanabilir, iklim, topografya, litoloji, toprak ve biyotik faktorler gibi ortami olusturan parametrelerle sayisal ortamda mekânsal ve istatistiksel olarak analiz edilebilir cografi veri tabani olusturulmus ve tartismaya acilmistir.
