Abstract

Das Buch analysiert aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln die Imaginarien, die sich aus dem Konzept der Welt als eigenständiges Reflexions- und Darstellungselement vom 15. bis 20. Jahrhundert ergeben. Es soll dazu beitragen, die Welt auf der Grundlage einer Vielzahl von Verbindungen neu zu denken, die die diesem Konzept zugrunde liegende Vielfalt zum Ausdruck bringen, und zwar aus einer lateinamerikanischen Perspektive in Verbindung mit dem methodischen Ansatz der Globalgeschichte.

El libro analiza desde ópticas múltiples los imaginarios que se desprenden del concepto mundo, como un elemento de reflexión y representación por sí mismo durante los siglos XV al XX. Se busca contribuir en repensar el mundo con base en una pluralidad de interconexiones que manifiestan la diversidad que subyace en el seno de este concepto, desde una perspectiva latinoamericana conjugada con el enfoque metodológico de historia global.
