Abstract

El análisis de problemas y el diseño de soluciones a través de herramientas y sistemas computacionales trasciende la simple aplicación de un desarrollo de software, sino más bien se constituye,como una disciplina fundamental de la Ciencias de la Computación, en el área informática, que maximiza la capacidad de las computadoras para resolver desafíos complejos. Esta aproximación sistemática y eficiente se logra mediante la aplicación del pensamiento computacional (Computational Thinking), una habilidad cognitiva que se ha consolidado como un paradigma esencial enla educación y la práctica profesional en la actualidad [Kolczyk, 2008]. Para materializar estas soluciones en un artefacto tangible, es imprescindible el uso de un lenguaje algorítmico que sea preciso, general y eficiente. Es así como, la algoritmia (o Pensamiento Algorítmico) es la habilidad deformular problemas de manera que se transformen de una entrada a una salida deseada a través de una secuencia estricta de operaciones, tareas, procesos o secuencia de pasos. De esta manera, los algoritmos llegan a ser un concepto fundamental en la informática y representan estrategias formales para resolver problemas específicos a través de una secuencia de pasos bien definidos [Nazareth, 2023].
