Abstract

Se describen 9 registros nuevos para Tamaulipas, de especies de musgos del bosque de encino y líquidámbar cercano al Rancho del Cielo, en la Sierra de Guatemala (Sierra de Cucharas), arriba de Gómez Farías, Tamaulípas. Esta zona es sumamente interesante no sólo por la hermosura y riqueza de su vegetación, sino principalmente por la abundancia de especies de los Apalaches en una flora esencialmente típica de los trópicos húmedos.
