The approval of the Declaration on the rights of peasants and other people working in rural areas has created a new category of human rights in the international order, presenting some aspects of considerable originality. However, it only has the value of a recommendation given by the United Nations General Assembly. It has been now demanded the need to carry out a process of implementing these rights in order to achieve their consolidation in the international order. The purpose of this research is to glimpse the most pertinent and effective ways and options for this purpose, as well as to provide practical proposals for this realization.
