Reliability Based Impact of Inverter-Based Resource Adoption

Abstract

The working group is working on developing a white paper that provides a high-level literature review of the most pressing impacts on grid reliability following increases in IBR adoption. This ranges from functional assessments of IBR performance relative to conventional resources to operating and control schemes to account for these new resources, whether at the utility level, at the distribution level, or operating as a microgrid. During this panel we will discuss the primary topics of the white paper to identify any potential gaps or points that should be elaborated upon prior to moving forward with publication. Presentations in this panel session: - Reliability Based Impact of Inverter-Based Resource Adoption (23PESGM4131)
