Abstract

The article is set out to examine the content and the reasons of observable changes in Turkey in regard of the secularization of the practicing Muslims within the realms of politics, political economy, public codes, ethical and legal factors. It is of significance since the literature is mainly focused upon the de-secularization of Turkish political system in recent years and this process was named as “Malaysianisation”.
