Comercio informal callejero: un insumo para políticas públicas

Abstract

Esta publicación analiza los cambios presentados en la economía informal reflejada en el comercio callejero que se desarrolla en el municipio de Bucaramanga. Este tipo de comercio ha sido contemplado como una problemática socioeconómica y espacial en los diferentes planes de gobierno, los cuales, entre otros aspectos, han establecido políticas y esfuerzos para mejorar las condiciones de calidad de vida de vendedores ambulantes y la recuperación del espacio público. Puntualmente, este libro revisa las características sociodemográficas de los comerciantes callejeros, sus lugares de concentración y las políticas realizadas por el Estado en beneficio de la ciudad, para finalmente proyectar lineamientos de políticas públicas que a este respecto deberían desarrollarse en la ciudad.
