Photolysis of Chlorothalonil in Benzene

Abstract

クロロタロニル (テトラクロロイソフタロニトリル) はベンゼン溶液中において急速に減少し, 未知物質が増加してくることが, ガスクロマトグラフィーにおいて認められた. この反応は光分解反応であり, ガラス透過の太陽光線によっても容易におこる. この主分解生成物は無色の針状結晶で, Mass およびCMRによりクロロタロニルの塩素の1個がフェニルラディカルと置換した2,3,5-trichloro-4,6-dicyanobiphenyl であることを確認した. また他の芳香族溶媒中でも容易に光分解がおこり, ガスクロマトグラフィーによりトルエンで3個, o-キシレンで1個, メシチレンで2個の分解物のピークが存在した. しかしアセトン, エーテル, ヘキサン中では光分解は認められなかった.
