Modelo de calidad para la mediana empresa del sector automotriz

Abstract

La mala gestión de losprocesos de la pequeña y mediana empresa (Pyme) y, en particular, de la empresaque se analizó para esta investigación, generan que este tipo de organizacionessean incapaces de producir procesos eficaces que les permitan cumplir con losrequerimientos de sus clientes, generalmente expresados en términos de la calidad del producto, entregas en tiempos establecidosy precios competitivos. Ante esta problemática, lapresente investigación consistió en el desarrollo de un modelo de calidad confiable que ayudara a este tipo deorganizaciones a resolver los problemas de eficacia en sus procesos, a fin de que estas puedan cumplir con losrequerimientos de sus clientes. El modelo desarrollado en esta investigación tieneuna estructura basada en la norma de calidad ISO 9001:2008 y está conformado pormétodos de administración de operaciones, los cuales fueron seleccionados porsu afinidad con el sector industrial analizado y su viabilidad de implantaciónen este tipo de empresas. Asi mismo, ante la enormecantidad de empresas y variedad de los sectores industriales existentes en laPyme, y el hecho de que es imposiblediseñar un modelo de calidad que sea efectivo para todas las organizaciones, lainvestigación se centró en empresas proveedoras de productosde soportería y tanques de combustible del sector automotriz de autobuses, camiones y tractocamiones.
