O ENSINO DA TRANSITIVIDADE VERBAL NO NÍVEL MÉDIO: UMA PROPOSTA CENTRADA NO USO

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta uma proposta de trabalho voltada para o nível médio, com o objetivo geral de promover o ensino-aprendizagem da transitividade verbal sob uma perspectiva da Linguística Centrada no Uso. Para desenvolver esta proposta, faz-se necessário o suporte teórico da Linguística Funcional Centrada no Uso – LFCU, um novo modelo teórico-metodológico, que absorve princípios, processos e categorias integrantes da linguística funcional norte-americana e da linguística cognitiva. Para a LFCU, a transitividade não implica uma dicotomia (transitivo x intransitivo), pois é um fenômeno gradiente, que diz respeito à gramática da oração como um todo e não apenas ao verbo. Quanto à metodologia, o tema será apresentado aos alunos pelo professor, em aula expositiva dialogada que utilizará exemplos extraídos de textos reais, escritos e/ou falados. Em seguida, os alunos realizarão, com a assistência do professor, a partir de texto(s) por este proposto(s), atividade individual em sala, com o intuito de identificar e analisar as orações transitivas presentes nesse(s) texto(s). Depois os alunos realizarão, a título de avaliação, uma segunda atividade, semelhante à primeira, desta vez em duplas, sem o auxílio do professor e sem consulta a qualquer material. Para fechar o estudo do tema, professor e alunos sistematizarão as descobertas feitas a partir das atividades, atentando para cada um dos objetivos específicos apresentados inicialmente.
