Se estudia la sensibilidad a antibióticos de 212 cepas de Staphylococcus, obtenidas de muestras clínicas. También se estudian las actividades bioquímicas de las cepas. No se encontró relación cualitativa entre resistencia y actividades bioquímicas. Se encontró un 2 % de resistencia a la metacilina y cloxacilina sin relación con la administración de estos antibióticos. Se discute el origen de la resistencia natural a estos derivados.
