Poniendo en relación las arquitecturas de Mies van der Rohe y Albert Kahn, más allá de detectar influencias del segundo sobre el primero, ciertamente claras en determinados aspectos formales, se pretende realizar un análisis de la obra del arquitecto americano enfocado desde los planteamientos teóricos del alemán. Utilizamos sobre todo el concepto de “Espacio-membrana”, proveniente de Siegfried Ebeling para este fin y para definir una lógica del límite como construcción del espacio en la obra industrial de Albert Kahn.
