KONVERSI NH3 DARI TAN/NH3-N MENGGUNAKAN KALKULATOR AMONIA

Abstract

Prosedur analisis amonia yang umum digunakan di Indonesia berdasarkan SNI 06-6989.30-2005 (cara uji kadar amonia dengan spektrofotometer secara fenat) dan SNI 19-6964.3-2003 (cara uji amonia (NH3–N) dengan biru indofenol secara spektrofotometri) hanya dapat menganalisis konsentrasi NH3–N/TAN. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara kerja kalkulator NH3 yang dirilis oleh Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Data mentah yang dikonversi (NH3-N/TAN, pH, salinitas, dan suhu) diperoleh dari hasil kegiatan sampling di Teluk Awerange Kabupaten Barru pada bulan Januari-Maret 2016. Dari hasil konversi diperoleh hasil konsentrasi NH3 tertinggi selama penelitian terjadi pada bulan Maret di titik stasiun A-5 (0,0190 mg/L) dan konsentrasi NH3 terendah terjadi pada bulan Februari di titik stasiun A-7 (0,0017 mg/L). Rata-rata konsentrasi NH3 pada kegiatan ini adalah 0,0019-0,0116 mg/L. Kalkulator amonia dapat mengonversi NH3 dari NH3-N. Diperlukan data insitu pH, salinitas, suhu, dan data laboratorium NH3-N untuk mengonversi konsentrasi NH3-N menjadi NH3 menggunakan kalkulator amonia. Konsentrasi NH3 pada perairan Teluk Awerange Kabupaten Barru belum bersifat toksik
