First record of Cheilomenes sexmaculata (Fabricius, 1781) (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) from Colombia

Abstract

La coccinelle Cheilomenes sexmaculata est signalée pour la première fois en Colombie. Auparavant, cette espèce a été enregistrée en Asie et en Australie, puis introduite en Amérique du Sud et signalée dans des pays tels que le Chili, l'Équateur, le Pérou et le Venezuela, où elle est utilisée pour la lutte biologique.

The ladybird Cheilomenes sexmaculata is reported for the first time from Colombia.Previously, this species was recorded in Asia and Australia, then introduced to South America and reported from countries such as Chile, Ecuador, Perú, and Venezuela, where it is used for biological control.

La mariquita Cheilomenes sexmaculata se reporta por primera vez desde Colombia. Anteriormente, esta especie se registró en Asia y Australia, luego se introdujo en América del Sur y se reportó desde países como Chile, Ecuador, Perú y Venezuela, donde se utiliza para el control biológico.

تم الإبلاغ عن الخنفساء Cheilomenes sexmaculata لأول مرة من كولومبيا. في السابق، تم تسجيل هذا النوع في آسيا وأستراليا، ثم تم إدخاله إلى أمريكا الجنوبية وتم الإبلاغ عنه من دول مثل تشيلي والإكوادور وبيرو وفنزويلا، حيث يتم استخدامه للمكافحة البيولوجية.
