
El "Transitivity Hypothesis" establecido por Hopper y Thompson (1980) se discute en lo que respecta a la lengua Bribri (Chibcha). The "Transitivity Hypothesis" set forth by Hopper and Thompson (1980) is discussed in regard to the Bribri (Chibchan) language. The transitivity phenomenon is analized at semantic, syntactic and discourse levels with the ultimate goal of establishing the predictive power of the hypothesis.
