A peculiarity in the temperature dependent Guinier photograph of K Cl O3, potassium chlorate, is discussed. A new high temperature phase of Rb Cl O3, rubidium chlorate, is reported. The room temperature structure of Cs Cl O3, cesium chlorate, is refined.
