Análisis de la vulnerabilidad geotécnica en las obras de ingeniería de la región niquelífera de Holguín a partir del empleo de métodos geodésicos

Abstract

En el trabajo se aborda la problemática del análisis de vulnerabilidad geotécnica en las obras industriales, con un nuevo enfoque sobre los modelos y terminologías en el análisis de la deformación. Se presenta una metodología para la determinación de los índices de vulnerabilidad geotécnica, a partir de la comparación de los valores de asentamientos determinadas por métodos geodésicos con las tolerancias fijadas por las normativas vigentes. Se realiza la validación de la metodología en cuatro casos de estudio de la región niquelífera de la provincia de Holguín: maquinarias industriales “Secaderos tubulares rotatorios”, depósitos de sustancias tóxicas “Base de amoniaco”, depósitos de sustancias inflamables “Tanque de combustible” y depósitos de mineral. Se demuestra la factibilidad de los resultados y la importancia de los estudios integrales de vulnerabilidad, a partir de la interacción de criterios concluyentes de varias disciplinas como la Geodesia, la Geofísica, la Geotecnia y la Ingeniería Civil.
