Suelo vacío en urbanizaciones cerradas

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación ha sido aportar una nueva mirada a los estudios sobre los vacíos urbanos, a partir de la comprensión de la acumulación de suelos vacíos en las urbanizaciones cerradas en la Área Metropolitana de Sevilla. La investigación parte de la comprensión del proceso de expansión difusa, que se hace presente en España con la formación de las urbanizaciones cerradas. El método utilizado para la investigación es el estudio de caso múltiple, a través de tres claves de interpretación: lectura espacial, lectura transversal y lectura longitudinal. Se identificaron lecturas de la frecuencia de los vacíos urbanos en urbanizaciones cerradas y, entre las principales conclusiones de la investigación, destaca la desocupación urbana intramuros, así como el reconocimiento del fenómeno como base estructural del modelo contemporáneo de urbanización difusa, dentro del marco de la producción del espacio capitalista
