The peculiarities of informational and analytical work in the system of strategic communications in Ukraine are explored. The role and significance of analytical work at the stage of both development of strategic communications in public administration and their functioning are considered. The urgent need for the state authorities to establish high-quality communication with the population and civil society of their own country, to increase the effectiveness of the functioning of anti-crisis communication, cooperation with analytical structures, is emphasized. Information and analytical work is an important condition for the functioning of strategic communications, making effective managerial decisions and so it should be directed at monitoring and analysis of the current situation in the information space, development of activities carried out in the context of state policy and providing for the change of behavioral and emotional settings of certain groups of society and individual persons. The prospects of information-analytical activity in the system of strategic communications in the context of modern global technological and political processes are analyzed.
