Abstract

Publikuojamas katalikų filosofo bei teologo B. Lonergano (1904–1984) 1968 m. perskaitytos paskaitos teksto vertimas. Joje nagrinėjama kognityvinė, epistemologinė bei antropologinė problematika. Teigiama. kad filosofijoje kurį laiką buvo ignoruojamas subjektas, ieškoma šio nepaisymo priežasčių. Pirmoji priežastis – tiesos objektyvumas: jis slypi anapus subjekto, šis trukdo pasiekti tikrą objektyvumą. Kitos priežastys- racionalistinė grynojo proto samprata ir metafizinė sielos samprata. Ignoruojamas subjektas pats savęs nepažįsta. Vadinamasis nupjautas (truncated) subjektas ne tik savęs nepažįsta, bet ir nežino, kad nežino. Aptariami konceptualistinės žmogaus sampratos trūkumai: antiistorinis nejudrumas, per didelis abstraktumas, būties kaip abstrakcijos samprata. Aptariama imanentinio subjekto samprata. Nagrinėjamos veiklos subjekto sampratos. Viena jų – egzistencinis subjektas: besielgdamas žmogiškasis subjektas pats padaro save tokį, koks jis yra, ir tai darydamas, jis yra laisvas ir atsakingas. Susvetimėjusiu subjektas tampa tada, kai atsižada savo autentiško gyvenimo ir panyra į savo psichikos ir prigimties tėkmę.
