Abstract

Straipsnis skirtas E. Meškausko filosofijai aptarti. Teigiama, kad jis yra marksistinės filosofijos Lietuvoje žymiausias atstovas. E. Meškausko marksistinės filosofijos pažiūros formavosi dar prieškario Lietuvos Respublikoje, nepriklausomai nuo sovietinio akademinio marksizmo. Pokario metais E. Meškausko opozicinė nuostata reiškėsi pastangomis dėstant pačią marksistinę filosofiją apginti kritiško mąstymo autonomiją nuo ideologinės prievartos. Jo filosofijos vienas postulatų yra prielaida, kad visuomeninio gyvenimo esmė yra praktika. Praktika yra materialaus ir dvasinio pasaulio sinkretinė vienovė – tokia samprata, autorės nuomone, yra dvinarės būties ir sąmonės filosofinės paradigmos papildymas trečiu nariu, jungiamąja grandimi. Marksistinė filosofija suprantama kaip visuomenės praktinės veiklos socialinės-istorinės raidos teorija. Daroma išvada, kad E. Meškausko filosofavimo stilius leido būtiną kiekvienos teorijos loginį uždarumą sėkmingai derinti su jos turinio atvirumu kiekvienai kitai racionaliai minčiai.
