Ateizmas: istorija ir metodologija

Abstract

Straipsnyje apžvelgiama ateizmo istorija, kurio ištakas autorius įžvelgia senovės graikų kultūroje, argumentuodamas tai šio žodžio etimologija. Teigiama, kad senovės graikų ateizmas įsiliejo į bendrą graikų dvasinės kultūros intelektualinės revoliucijos srautą, kuris reiškė kritinio ir teorinio mąstymo tapsmą, t. y. šuolį iš mythos į logos. Pirmajai ateizmo revoliucijai nepavyko įveikti religijos, kadangi graikų ateizmas reiškė ne absoliutų dievų paneigimą, bet tik jų pašalinimą iš tiesioginės veiklos realiame gyvenime. Antroji revoliucija sutampa su Renesansu ir porenesansiniu laikotarpiu. Tuo metu religija buvo laikoma nemoksliškumo ir apgaulės produktu dėl M. Koperniko, Ch. Darwino, Pavlovo atradimų ir pasiekimų gamtos moksle. Trečiąja revoliucija prieš religiją tapo K. Marxo ir F. Engelso istorinis materializmas, kuris religiją, filosofiją, moralę ir t. t. aiškino materialine praktika ir su gamybos būdu susijusiais socialiniais santykiais bei visuomenės santvarka. Religija yra neatskiriama socialinio kultūrinio ir etninio visuomenės gyvenimo dalis.
