Abstract

El trabajo que vamos a presentar hoy es sobre Gobernanza Universitaria y Género. El objetivo de este trabajo es abordar la temática de género en el gobierno universitario poniendo foco en Chile y Argentina y a través de información obtenida de fuentes secundarias describir el estado de situación de la temática y proponer líneas de investigación. La organización, las organizaciones en general, en este momento se encuentran insertan en contextos variables, complejos, con una dinámica muy activa que los enfrenta nuevos desafíos y las llevan a adoptar estructurasflexibles, con gran poder de adaptación, fundamentalmente para poder dar respuestas a las nuevas demandas de un entorno cultural y político sumamente cambiante. El gobierno organizacional ha sido objeto de estudio de la administración como ciencia desde hace más de un siglo y las universidades como organizaciones complejas están inmersas en estos estudios. Fundamentalmente están presentando algunas dificultades de adaptación, sobre todo en sus máximos órganos de gobierno Universitarios; fundamentalmente, según Ganga, Pedraja, Quiroz y Rodríguez, porque hay una asincronía, o falta de comprensión de la dirigencia de lo que son los procesos de cambio organizacional.
