Abstract

Transformation of Library Services The COVID pandemic, dynamic changes in society, mobility – all these factors caused libraries to modify their approach to users. Thanks to the introduction of online registration, home delivery, book dispensers, drop boxes and other solutions, cultural institutions were able to meet readers’ expectations. The presentation will be devoted to innovations that were launched in the years 2020–2023 in selected libraries from among university, voivodeship, public and school libraries. The institutions will indicate which solutions were temporary and which are to be permanent. The users’ expectations about these new services will also be discussed. A survey will be conducted for the purposes of the presentation.
