The article considers the modern concept of the public administration model. To solve the tasks in the article the following research methods are used: analysis and synthesis, system approach, systematization and generalization. The theoretical and methodological basis of this research are the works of domestic and foreign authors. Measures to improve public governance are proposed. The main objectives of further research in the field of "new" concept of public administration is to improve the processes of systematization of work and create a mechanism for future use. The article presents the development of the discipline "public administration" as an integral part of political science, highlights the methodological and political issues that determined its evolution, interdisciplinary features and regulatory framework of study.
