The book of Dede Korkut comes from the twelve stories that describe various sections of Oguzlar's epic confucian life. Dede Korkut himself is a great Oghuzese who is sanctified and sanctified by the wise personality among nomadic Turks. He is considered the father of the Oghuz boy, he is also a very powerful poet. Not only from the time he lived alone, but also from the past and the future. In Dede Korkut stories, the beliefs of the Turks, their moral values, their patriotism, their prowess are told very vividly. In the stories described in the book of Dede Korkut, the basic beliefs of Islam are expressed in various ways, and pre-Islamic Turkish beliefs are reflected in these stories from time to time. In this article, the idea of, God reflected in the stories of Dede Korkut is discussed and it is told that the Islamic elements are not the surface of these stories.

Dede Korkut Kitabı Oğuzların destanlaşmış konar göçer hayatlarından çeşitli kesitleri anlatmakta ve on iki hikâyeden meydana gelmektedir. Dede Korkut’un kendisi ise göçebe Türkler arasında bilge kişiliği ile yüceltilip kutsallaştırılan büyük bir Oğuz büyüğüdür. O, Oğuz boylarının atası kabul edilir ve aynı zamanda çok güçlü bir halk ozanıdır. Yalnız yaşadığı dönemden değil, geçmiş ve gelecekten de haberler verir. Dede Korkut hikâyelerinde Türklerin inançları, ahlâki değerleri, töreleri, yiğitlikleri çok canlı bir dille anlatılır. Dede Korkut Kitabı’nda anlatılan hikâyelerde İslamiyetin temel inançları çeşitli vesilelerle dile getirildiği gibi İslamiyet öncesi Türk inanışları da zaman zaman bu hikâyelere yansır. Bu makalede Dede Korkut hikâyelerine yansıyan Tanrı tasavvuru ele alınarak bu hikâyelerde İslami unsurların sathi olmadığı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.
