Abstract

Terahertz-Systeme erfreuen sich im Bereich der zerstörungsfreien Prüfung wachsenden Interesses. Sie kombinieren die Vorzüge eines bildgebenden und berührungslosen Verfahrens mit einer großen Eindringtiefe und verzichten auf ionisierende Strahlung. Je nach verwendeter THz-Quelle stehen unterschiedliche Leistungsmerkmale im Vordergrund. Dabei ist anhand der Messaufgabe abzuwägen, welches System für den betreffenden Einsatz am sinnvollsten ist.
