The author himself characterises his work as a ``survey of the secret charms of logical syntax''. It really is. The different fragments of logical syntax (predicate and propositional calculus etc.) are considered from the grammar-theoretical point of view. The paper contains interesting results about their context-freeness, regularity etc. (with complete proofs). Some discussion is included. The author tries also to show that analogues with natural languages may be fruitful.
