Kooperativer Bibliotheksverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (KOBV)

Abstract

Der Kooperative Bibliotheksverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (KOBV) wurde in den Jahren 1997-2000 im Rahmen eines wissenschaftlichen Projektes eingerichtet. Er stellt eine neuartige Form von Bibliotheksverbund dar. Sein technisches Konzept und sein organisatorischer Aufbau basieren auf der Internetphilosophie. Den informationstechnischen Kern bildet eine Suchmaschine, die die heterogenen lokalen Bibliothekssysteme miteinander verbindet. Die KOBV-Organisation ist dezentral. Sie wird getragen von der Kooperation der Bibliotheken in Berlin und Brandenburg; diese werden von einer kleinen Verbundzentrale unterstutzt. Die KOBV-Suchmaschine ist zu erreichen unter: {\begin{rawhtml} http://www.kobv.de/suche/ \end{rawhtml}}
