In Ecuador, home to various indigenous groups, Christianity is resurgent due to shifts in identity, a prophetic movement to the poor, and Pentecostalisation. As of 2020, 95% of the population was Christian, of which 84% were Catholics. Despite the plurality of faiths in the country, much has yet to occur when it comes to interfaith discourse.
