Abstract

Türk alemi içinde inkişaf etmiş olan medeniyet ve kültür, insanoğlunun yaratmış olduğu en ileri ve en yüksek medeniyet ve kültürlerarasında yer alır. Tohumları Türkistan'da atılmış olan bu medeniyet,Hindistan'da olduğu kadar, bütün Batı Asya'yı, Kuzey Afrika'yı veyer yer Avrupa'yı kaplayan muazzam bir sahada filiz vererek gelişti.Bu gelişme olurken, Türk medeniyeti, dünyanın eski ve çağdaş medeniyetlerinden muktedir olabildiği her şeyi aldı ve kendi bünyesiiçinde mezcetti. Milâdî XI. yüzyıl başlarında, dünyanın en kuvvetlive aydın milletlerinden biri olarak ortaya çıkmış bulunan Türkler,XVI. yüzyılda çeşitli ilim sahalarındaki başarılarının mahsullerini Avrupa'ya ve başka memleketlere yaydılar. Bununla beraber, takribenXVII. yüzyılda Türk cemiyetinde bir inhitat devri başladı ve XVIII.yüzyıl ile beraber Türkler üstünlüklerini kaybettiler
