Sporda favoritizm: Mücadele sporları üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Bu calismanin amaci, sporda kayirmacilik olgusunu, sporcu deneyimlerinden yola cikarak, kronizm ve nepotizm kavramlarini icine alan, iltimas, adam kayirma ve taraf tutma gibi daha genel bir anlam tasiyan favoritizm kavrami cercevesinde degerlendirmektir. Arastirma, elde edilen verilerin cozumlenmesinde kullanilan teknikler acisindan nitel bir calismadir. Arastirmada nitel arastirma araci olarak gorusme (roportaj) teknigi tercih edilmis ve yari yapilandirilmis gorusme formu kullanilmistir. Arastirmanin calisma grubunu, amacli orneklem yontemi ile secilen ve cesitli sekillerde kayirmaciliga maruz kaldigini belirten; gures, boks, kick boks, wushu, muay thai ve taekwondo branslarindan birer sporcu olmak uzere, toplam 6 sporcu olusturmustur. Yapilan analiz sonucunda elde edilen veriler incelendiginde, sporcularin branslarindaki hedefleri ve karsilastiklari engeller, maclarin yonetimi ve bazi sporcularin kayrilmasi gibi boyutlara bagli olarak uc tema ortaya cikmistir. Bu temalar: hedeflere ulasmadaki engeller, hakem hatalarindan kaynakli haksizliklar ve favoritizmdir. Gorusmelerden elde edilen bulgular sonucunda, incelenen mucadele sporlarinda favoritizmin var oldugu soylenebilir
