Abstract

Die seriöse Repräsentation von Staat und Unternehmen ist untrennbar verbunden mit dem Herrenanzug und seinem weiblichen Pendant, dem Hosenanzug. Auch das Kostüm, die Kombination aus Jackett und Rock, ist an den Herrenanzug angelehnt und war den damaligen Kleidungskonventionen entsprechend eher da als der weibliche Hosenanzug. Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der heutigen Bedeutung des Rockes für formal-repräsentative Anlässe und seinen halbformellen Weiterentwicklungen. Der Rock wird in urbaner Alltagskleidung zunehmend ersetzt durch eine Kleidung-Körper-Formation aus enger Hose und Frauenbein. Die Anpassung des Outfits an das urbane Mobilitätsverhalten und die Codierung des Kostüms als weiblich verdrängen ihn zunehmend aus der (halb-)formellen Alltagskleidung.
