Profesor dr. Miroslav Zei - devetdesetletnik

Abstract

Profesor Miroslav Zeise je rodil 25. julija 1914 v Nabrezini pri Trstu. Po italijanski zasedbi Trsta se je druzina Zeijevih umaknila v Slovenijo. Nov dom so nasli v Mariboru. Tu je mladi Miro !eta 1932 maturiral. Po maturi se je vpisal na Filozofsko fakulteto v Ljubljani. Odlocil se je za studij biologije, se posebno ga je pritegnila zoologija. Ze leta 1936 je diplomiral in takoj zacel pripravljati doktorsko tezo. Minila so le stiri !eta po diplomi in ze je obranil disertacijo:«Prispevek k morfologi­ji in sistemujadranskih vrst druzine Maenidae (giric)« in bi! potem promoviran za doktorja filozof­skih ved.
