Povezava med karotenoidi v siliranem koruznem zrnju in barvo rumenjaka

Abstract

V krmilnem preskusu s 600 nesnicami isa brown smo ugotavljali učinek siliranega koruznega zrnja na obarvanost rumenjaka ter na vsebnost beta karotena in ksantofilov. Pri 32. tednu starosti smo kokoši razporedili v šest skupin, po sto v vsako. Preskus je trajal 154 dni. Primerjali smo dva koruzna hibrida, raisso in lotus. V obroku je bilo 40 oz. 60 odstotkov suhe snovi iz siliranega zrnja. Dopolnilna krmna mešanica je bila v obeh primerih enaka. Skupine s preskusnimi obroki in ena kontrolna s krmno mešanico brez dodanega barvila so dobivale odmerjen obrok. V drugi kontrolni skupini so nesnice dobile popolno krmno mešanico po volji. Rezultate smo statistično obdelali s programskim paketom SAS/STAT (SAS Institute Inc., 1989). Obrok s 60 odstotki silaže je značilno temneje obarval rumenjak. Količina ksantofilov v silaži je bila značilno povezana z vsebnostjo barvil v rumenjaku. Koruzni hibrid raissa je rumenjak obarval temneje. Lotus je povečal vsebnost beta karotena v rumenjaku. Med hibridoma ni bilo razlik v vsebnosti beta karotena, lotus je vseboval značilno manj ksantofilov.
