L’educazione etico-sociale nei documenti programmatici della scuola secondaria di primo grado

Abstract

Il presente saggio affronta il tema del curricolo etico-sociale inquadrandolo nel contesto dei fondamentali documenti programmatici che riguardano il segmento scolastico della scuola secondaria di primo grado, dalla sua istituzione ai nostri giorni. A tal fine, mette a confronto i diversi scenari e i diversi approcci che da essi promanano, evidenziandone criticamente le contraddizioni e le fragilità. Operando una decisa scelta a favore di un approccio globale, all’opposto di un approccio settoriale/disciplinare, ne sviluppa alcune linee di indirizzo, che le Indicazioni Nazionali del 2012 e il Documento reinterpretativo delle medesime, elaborato nel 2018 a cura del Comitato Scientifico Nazionale per le Indicazioni Nazionali, affidano alle scuole come criteri orientativi per l’elaborazione di un curricolo etico-sociale, nell’ambito del loro mandato. Particolare attenzione viene riservata alla dimensione metodologica dell’insegnamento, che intrinsecamente innerva e traduce gli scopi educativi considerati.
