Abstract

La Didáctica de la Historia ha de tener por objeto la construcción de una teoría del Proceso Unitario de Enseñanza y Educación de la Historia; para ello es necesario abordar sus problemas en dos direcciones: la ontológica que constituye la búsqueda de lo que ese objeto didáctica es; la gnoseológica, en cuanto a teoría de su saber, de su conocimiento, que exige definir la relación entre contenidos científicos o saberes históricos para la formación del pensamiento histórico, e igualmente le compete el estudio de las categorizaciones, valorizaciones, habilidades, destrezas y actitudes del alumno en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. En otro espacio está la necesidad de afirmar la postura paradigmática de la propia disciplina didáctica que, a partir de un nuevo concepto de ciencia - y de ciencia social-, pueda justificar filosófica y epistemológicamente su consistencia teórica y científica; deviene así, entonces, una disciplina científica con sentido y pretensiones distintas de las que le han sido atribuidas por las corrientes de pensamiento tradicionalmente aceptadas.
