Microclima del bosque de Chapultepec

Abstract

Mediante recorridos en un automóvil instrumentado, se ha determinado la distribución de temperatura y humedad en la principal área verde de la capital. El área del bosque es una "isla fría" dentro de la ciudad, debido a la evapotranspiración y a la relativa ausencia de fuentes de calor. El nivel de contaminación decrece hacia el poniente del área verde.
