Influência de agentes clareadores no tampão cervical realizado com cimento de ionômero de vidro modificado por resina

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a alteração dimensional de um silicone polimerizado por reação de condensação convencional e outro em auto-mistura. Para isso, foi empregado um modelo padrão com quatro pilares angulados, tendo um deles um sulco em forma de “v” na região cervical. A técnica de moldagem utilizada foi a do material em consistência densa e fluida em dois estágios, com casquetes metálicos para alívio, o que originou espessura padronizada de 2,0mm para moldagem final. Foram obtidos doze modelos em gesso pedra tipo IV (Durone - Dentsply Indústria e Comércio Ltda., Petrópolis-BRASIL) para cada condição experimental estudada. Os modelos foram mensurados em um projetor de perfil (Jones & Lanson-mod.Epic-30E-Springfield, Vermont- USA), com ampliação de 10x e suas medidas comparadas às do modelo padrão. Os resultados obtidos foram submetidos aos testes estatísticos de Kruskal-Wallis e de Dunn, ao nível de significância de 5%. Verificou-se que houve diferença estatisticamente significante para a largura entre os pilares com angulação de 16o (p3) e com sulco em forma de “v” (p4) dos corpos-de-prova obtidos com o silicone de auto-mistura e os pilares cilíndricos (p1) e com angulação de 6o (p2) dos corpos-de-prova obtidos com o silicone convencional. Sendo que os pilares p3 e p4 do grupo auto-mistura apresentaram-se mais largos do que p1 e p2 do grupo convencional. Porém não houve diferença estatisticamente significante para a altura dos corpos-de-prova.
