Avaliação de Inseticidas Neonicotinóides para o Controle da Mariposa-Oriental Grapholita molesta (Busck) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) em Laboratório e Pomar Comercial de Maçã com Infestações Artificiais

Abstract

A mariposa oriental, Grapholita molesta (Busck) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae), e uma das principais pragas da cultura da macieira no Brasil. O controle do inseto tem sido realizado basicamente com inseticidas de alta toxicidade e nao seletivos aos inimigos naturais. Neste trabalho foi avaliado o efeito dos neonicotinoides acetamiprida (Mospilan, 20 e 40 g/100 L) e clotianidina (Focus PM, 10 e 20 g/100 L) comparados com o fosmete (Imidan 500 PM, 200 g /100 L) para o controle da G. molesta em laboratorio e pomar comercial utilizando infestacao artificial. Em laboratorio, posturas e frutos foram tratadas com os inseticidas e, em pomar comercial, as macas foram infestadas artificialmente apos a aplicacao dos produtos. Acetamiprida e clotianidina nas maiores doses reduziram a eclosao de lagartas em 99,7 e 79,7%, respectivamente enquanto que o fosmete nao apresentou efeito ovicida (12,4% de reducao). Na testemunha (agua) foi observada uma eclosao de lagartas de 96,6%. Os inseticidas acetamiprida e clotianidina proporcionaram uma mortalidade de lagartas de G. molesta em laboratorio apos 96 h entre 83,3 e 97,6 % equivalente ao fosmete (95,2%). Em pomar comercial, a mortalidade de lagartas avaliada nove dias apos a infestacao foi entre 76,9 e 88,4% indicando a viabilidade da metodologia para avaliar o efeito de inseticidas no controle do inseto. Os inseticidas neonicotinoides acetamiprida e clotianidina apresentam-se como alternativas ao emprego dos orgnofosforados para o controle da mariposa oriental na cultura da macieira.
